They call the rodeo “Pikes Peak or Bust” because of the gold rush into the region during the 1890s where I live. It’s suppose to be the second oldest rodeo after the rodeo during Cheyenne Frontier Days in Wyoming. One of these days, I’ll get around to doing several posts about this.
wow history it amazes me as Australia isnt very old asfar as history is concerned.Id love to get to your part of the world one day

Last week was rodeo week here with the annual “Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo”. The only thing missing was the “cattle drive” through downtown.
